I have an English Bulldog, who I've adopted from a rescue group that
dicided that it wasn't in their interest to treat a torn tendon in one
of its rear legs. I've been thinking about getting one of those doggie
wheelchairs but I'm wondering if anyone out there has experience with
the wheelchairs.
Are they convenient, and worth it, or should I save the money?

Why not put the money towards repairing the
tendon?

a wheelchair for a corgi ran my friends about 500 dollars but the dog
had DM and had NO rear leg movement at all..,
it extended his life about a year.

what would a tendon repair cost?

Depends on how severe, and if a doctor has
deemed it reparable.

Could run a couple thou. But if it meant full
functionality for the dog, I'd pass on the
wheelchair, I'd use a strap to help the
little guy walk until I'd gotten the dosh
together for the surgery.

But there are very few details available on
this one, and she may have a solid reason why
she's not asking about that....I don't know.
