There were good parts?
What's NOT good about this?
"This evening I took Muttley to friend's place, and she has a black male
dog, named Noir, who is half poodle and half Wheaten terrier. Noir seemed
rather excited to have a new dog in his yard, and it was a bit difficult
handling Muttley on leash while Noir ran around and charged at him. So I
unleashed Muttley and they ran around in the yard. Muttley probably would
have been happy enough just to explore the yard and mark his territory,
but Noir really wanted to play. I'm not sure Muttley quite knew how, and
I'm not sure he appreciated Noir playing bitey face and nipping at his
ears and feet, but they got along OK."
"Sometimes they would disappear behind trees and bushes. At one point
Noir came back to where we were sitting but we called Muttley and he was
not forthcoming. We found that he had jumped the fence to the neighbor's
yard and was happily staking it out as his own. Eventually I got Muttley
back to me and clipped his leash back on, and he hopped the fence back
into the yard. Eventually both dogs felt comfortable enough to lie down
in the grass near each other. It was a good socialization experience for
him, I think."
I guess some people are just miserable and frustrated and need to find
someone they can kick around so they feel better about themselves. Have you
stopped beating your dogs?
