But now you insist that you're
a genius, which means you *could* be making
responsible and informed suggestions. But you
don't.

Intelligence and knowledge don't necessarily go together,
and it may be the case that she's perfectly bright (although
the way she processes and synthesizes [or not] information
leads me to believe otherwise), but if she were bright then
there's some reason she's not learning this stuff.
