Dogs are not our whole lives, but they make our lives whole....Roger Caras
Absolutely excellent quote!
Hang on a sec, I'm gonna read that out loud to my dogs (2 Sheppards,
retired police doggies, 1 Beagle)....
HA! They all sat up and commenced tail wagging!

Idaho Man Wades Into Icy Pond to Save 2 Dogs
Saturday, December 12, 2009
BOISE, Idaho — The Idaho Humane Society says a pair of dogs rescued
from the frigid waters of an Ada County pond have been reunited with
their owners.
The organization says a good Samaritan noticed the yellow Labrador
retrievers in distress at the pond on Friday and after securing a rope
around his waist, waded into the icy waters to save the dogs.
Animal control officer Jason Staley says the man brought the animals
to safety and then jumped into a car to get warm and drove away. He
was not identified.
The dogs were transported to the humane society's medical center and
treated.
