Default poop

Hi

every few days I find a new dog poop on my lawn. I'm guessing that
someone in the neighbourhood takes their dog for a walk in the early
morning, and the dog relieves itself as necessary...

But is there any sort of "dog repellent" I can use to prevent this from
happening? I don't really want to have to build a huge fence and gate, so
would be interested to hear of any other mechanisms which would make a
dog much less likely to use my lawn for its toilet.

Thanks,
Peter

Stand outside with a shotgun? Put a thousand mousetraps on the grass?
Seriously, you're blaming the dog for the fact that the owners don't clean
up after it. Forget about dog repellant, you need a stupid person
repellant. Post some large signs that say "PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR
DOG". Point a webcam at your lawn, catch the offender in the act, and
chuck their dog feces on their lawn.

OK, shotgun - thanks, good idea - I'll look into that!
