Jayant, this news group is very inactive. It is highly unlikely that
local people will see your note here. The group was set up for rescuers
to discuss and solve problems with the work, rather than to place dogs.
I suggest that you go to area pet stores on Saturdays and Sundays and
talk to the people running adoption sessions for local rescue
organizations. Perhaps they can take the dogs and place them or direct
good adoption prospects to you. Talk to the staff at the vet clinic and
post a notice there. People wil be supportive in helping, as your mom
is going into care, rather than just "tired of the dogs", moving to an
apatment where she can't take them, and other excuses. If they are
purebreds, go to www.petfinder.com and pull up the shelters ist and find
the nearest rescue group that specializes in their breed/s, and make
contact.
