Default How to stop dog from dangerous behavior?

Our 7 month old female Rottweiler mix walked into our life 10 days ago
as a stray. She is very playful and likes to "tackle" us and bite
around our feet. She has already caused my wife to fall and suffer
facial cuts and scraped knees. The dog is very sturdy and doesn't
seem phased by admonitions and kicks. We have her scheduled to go
into dog training at the SPCA in a couple of weeks. Anything we can
do to discourage her dangerous habit before then?

Hopefully another here can help with ideas. All I know is you are bolder
than I am. I would not try to raise that type as I know too little on how
to handle that sort. At least I am aware of my own limits ;-)

YOu need some in person help. Call the SPCA and see if they can offer
that prior to the class starting. Where do you live?

Well, for one thing, you can STOP ****ING KICKING HER.

Another poster has already suggested getting in-person help. Do
that. Meanwhile, keep her on leash and under control; in plain
terms, Don't Let Her Do That.

(Kicking, Boss? What? What?)

Never mind, Baron.
