I love that she's looking up at you. And slick doesn't seem too
bothered by it, bless his heart.

Alsotoo, is that all Emmett? Long dog is very long! I thought
there was a 4th dog there, with its head buried under Emmett, until
I looked more closely.

Slick is an extremely tolerant dog - you should see him with
the puppy. When he first got here he introduced himself to
thei other dogs by shoving his big galoot head over their
shoulders and I thought "Oh, crap," but he lets the other
dogs push him around.

Alsotoo, is that all Emmett? Long dog is very long!

All Emmett. He's a big dog. Crow weighs ~40 lbs., Slick
around 50, and Emmett between 60-65. Sledding harnesses are
made for standard husky-type dogs, and he takes an XL.

Very cute!

other observations.
Those dogs look like you spend a lot of time grooming them. Nice coats.

Your housekeeping looks about like mine.
The hair! The Hair!

I was surprised for all the work that you do with your dogs, that they lack
muscular development.

He sounds like an all around good egg.

So Emmett's like 1.5 Huskies? I remember thinking that Slick was
kind of rangy when you got him (maybe leggy would be a better
word?). Is he about the same height as Emmett?

I think that's a dog couch.

I was surprised for all the work that you do with your dogs, that they lack
muscular development.

How can you tell from that picture?

He's shorter than Emmett. Emmett is over-standard at about
25.5". He's quite leggy, as are the girls, and Jack will
be.

I'm sure as hell not going to sit on it.

How can you tell from that picture?

I think Diddy's used to stockier, more muscular dogs - the
difference between weight training and running.

Not if you don't want to be squashed.

I think Diddy's used to stockier, more muscular dogs - the

Well, yeah. But I wouldn't expect to see much muscle definition in
a heap of sleeping dogs.

Ah. I wonder if the fact that Slick is lighter in color is why I
thought he was taller than Emmett? And anyway, I have no excuse,
because now that I think about it, I'm sure I've asked this same
question before. Duh! Never mind!
