Default hi everyone! Non-Dog Content, except a little bit

Hi there - my isp dropped usenet access and I bought a pay service which
apparently dropped our newsgroup a couple of days after I got it, so I
decided that was enough trouble to access usenet and left it . We've since
moved, changed isps and I am back in usenet business.

We moved to the new house this past weekend and are just getting a little
settled. Its been a tough move. I've also been trying to get monks room
painted and decorated (its got a dog theme of course and is coming out
great) at the same time, my parents come tonite and monks birthday party is
tomorrow and i got 2.5 million dollars for a project I've been planning
forever so my week off turned into a partial week off and I'm just tired.

Dog content: The dogs LOVE the new yard (once we secured some fence issues)
and are doing lots of running which is good - both are about a pound or two
fatter than I'd like and its been very hard getting off that last bit of
chub. There are issues with a wooded yard, like the dead something that tok
scarfed before I found it (his drop failed), and some weird and scary wires
sticking out of the ground. And the little sticky things that stick to
everyones fur and shoes. But all in all, they seem to be over their anxiety
about the new house and seem excited!!

Pirates recovery from his second surgery to correct his premature growth
plate closure has been much slower than his first - apparently one leg is
healing much slower than the other . So far, doctor is not concerned, but I
am. He's limping on that side pretty heavily. I hope he gets well. He
really deserves to.

Anyway, I remember why I didn't want to buy a house - all you do is fix it.
But glad to be back in contact.

I think the words are either, "restore" or "personalize".

Glad the move seemed to go well, congratulations on getting your
project funded & Happy Birthday to Monk!

No kidding!
But good to see you again. I was wondering how it was going.
(Did you get rid of the wallpaper mural?)

Actually my head is resting on it right now. First things first. First
thing: monks room!

And Happy Birthday to Monk. The girl grandurchin just celebrated her
4th birthday last weekend.

I thought of your grandurchin last week when monk opened up a container of
those eensy teensy sprinkles and they rained down in a multicolor nightmare
onto the kitchen floor.

Congrats on the house! We've been in this one for nearly four
years, and still remodeling - replacing old interior doors and
trim, at the moment. It never ends...

Will Pirate need any more surgeries? I hope this one does the trick.

And congrats on the project, too!

I forgot to add that I was sorry to read that Pirate's recovery was so
slow. He's such a cute fellow and we send our best healing thoughts so
he is completely recovered soon.

Hoping for some new Pirate pictures, and some new Monk pictures, and some
new *house* pictures. What did you end up deciding about the kitchen?

I'm not even close to ready to do anything to the kitchen but monks Hairy
Maclary room is really shaping up nicely.
