One post to one newsgroup is "spam?" You're getting hysterical.

I guess ALL of us who get aggravated at unwanted ads in discussion groups
get hysterical.

Although you care only about clicks, but not about the company, it makes no
difference to you if you alienate your audience. After all, it's all about
clicks to you, and not commission from sales.


But to those of us who get these annoying marketing spam ads, we tend to be
alienated from purchasing from spammers. And yes.. one post where it's not
discussion, but an ad, in a discussion group IS spam.

A message is Spam only if it is both Unsolicited and Bulk.

-Unsolicited Email is normal email
(examples: first contact enquiries, job enquiries, sales enquiries)

-Bulk Email is normal email
(examples: subscriber newsletters, customer communications, discussion
lists)

discussion listS (note plural). One message to one group is not bulk ergo
not spam.

Just when I think you cannot be more obtuse you explore even deeper depths
by 1) actually believing I get paid 2.5 cents to post and 2) think I am
