Default *Seperation Anxiety*

My 16 month old puppy Aeriel has SEVERE seperation anxiety if I have
to go somewhere for more than 20 minutes w/out her, or can't get a
puppy sitter. We're doing the exercises in the article (AWESOME
article!!) below. I had tried the crate, but (as mentioned in the
article) she hurt herself the last two times. She is very well
behaved, sweet, extremly happy, and has no problems as long as she's
with me, or I'm in the house. It's only if I leave, and can't take
her w/me. I can't always get a sitter, and any advice/tips would be
greatly appreciated!! Aer-Bear's having her shots in a couple weeks,
so I'm going to talk to the vet about the situation, and mabye have to
get tranquilizers if I have to leave her alone for 1-3 hours,. (also
mentioned in article) which isn't often.

The article is very thorough, but if anyone has any other advice, I'll
try just about anything.
Thanx!! :-)

Kibbles'N'Bits? Seriously? I didn't even know they made that anymore.
Kinda reminds me of the Gaines Burgers and Gravy Train conversation. I am
new, raising my first just-mine dog, but even I know that crap is..well,
crap. Why would you want to promote crap?

(((Phyrie)))lol-I got the link from a friend of mine who's a
Veterinary Assistant.
I diddn't know they made it anymore either, but the article is REALLY
good.
I feed my dog IAMS, & give her a Pet Tabs (puppy vitamins) every day.
I'm not promoting the food, just the article. ;-)
