Default Scratching the carpet????

My little pomeranian has started scratching the carpet. She uses her front
feet and it's a pretty hard scratching. She isn't doing this and then lying
in that spot. Just wondering if anyone has had anything like this in their
home.

thanx

Atty (7 yr. lab) does this during storms and football games on TV - usually
in the corner under the baby grand piano.

This question came up not too long ago, you might want to go back and read a
number of good responses.

I had two dogs scratch and snag a commercial berber that I have downstairs.
Ruined the carpet, actually. I thought it was nesting behavior, but
nobody's talking, so I cannot be sure.

Did you spill something in the spot?

Kind regards,
