He looks like a lot of Border Collie x retriever mixes I have seen
(quite a few golden retriever x BC mixes are all black, the golden colour gene must be recessive, but lab or flat coated retriever are quite possible). Michelle petartist.com.au |

I wondered about that in your flat dogs thread. *I like the way he looks and I would guess he's heavily influenced by the FCR. Head and ears are all wrong. HairyBlackFCR |

First and foremost, he's a big dog - Suja clearly stated he weighs about 65 lbs - and Schips are a TOY breed; usual height range is between 10 and 13 inches tall, and usual weight range is between 10 and 15 lbs (although some individuals are slightly larger or smaller). Aside from that, they have prick ears and no tail (usually a natural bobtail). |

He actually has long hair, but except for the head and tail, has been shorn (for summer, allegedly). Nice, soft dog with big, soulful eyes. Any guesses? http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y65...gs/Gatsby1.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y65...gs/Gatsby2.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y65...gs/Gatsby3.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y65...gs/Gatsby4.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y65...gs/Gatsby5.jpg I apologize for making it seem like he has no legs, but the boy has a tendency to go flat on you when he realizes that you have a camera.
