Default Native American Indian Dog

Muttley and I met Larka once again on the NCRR trail:

She is a Native American Indian Dog, a close relative of the wolf.

She is a beautiful, well-tempered dog, and she and Muttley got along very
well, walking in close proximity to each other for about 1.5 miles.

That is a breed I have never heard of, but Larka does look just like the
breed photo.

That's because it's not really a breed. In fact, it's
generaly thought to be a hoax.

If you look in the right places, you can easily discover that it's a "new
breed" with German Shepherd & Siberian Husky in the background, and that
there are several "breeders" out there producing dogs with similar
backgrounds and names.

Of course, and I am a big blonde Valkyrie. Those sites and
breed descriptions are full of howlers (Montaignais being
from northwestern Canada, the dogs are extremely intelligent
and therefore easy to train, and on and on and on).
Basically it's a big bogo-breed designed to appeal to the
same white people who dangle dream catchers from their
rearview mirrors.

Yep. Which is why I put quotation marks around "new breed" and "breeders" -
I was *agreeing* with you that it's not what I'd call a breed, and pointing
out that with a bit of effort, Paul (or the owner of the dog, for that
matter) could have figured that out for himself.

I have a shredded teddy bear head hanging from my rearview mirror. I
made fun of the air freshener doohickey that my daughter has in her
truck, which smells like a barbie doll bordello and in retaliation she
tied the head of Cooper's latest victim to my rearview mirror. I kinda
liked it, so I left it there.

"Dude. What's that your mom's got hanging from her mirror?"
"A teddy bear head."
"Oh."

I'll bet you're going to have some interesting conversations
with the cops if you ever get stopped.

I am a master of the interesting conversation.

Besides, what kind of authentic serial killer displays their propensity
so blatantly? I mean, aside from your typical jrt?

Leave it to Melinda to put a negative spin on anything. If nothing else,
this is a beautiful dog, and she could at least acknowledge that fact. Here

If you want to believe it is a hoax:

The dog's name is Larka, which originated from the following:
