Poor Oppie - he's had more than his share of vets and procedures. And
poor you - you've had more than your share of worries with him. All
fingers and paws crossed that this will go well and without
complications, and that things will be smooth sailing from here on.

Mustang Sally

Thanks, Sally. We're hoping for fair weather.

Poor Oppie. He's lucky he's got such a good mom.

Aw, thanks, diddy.

I read somewhere last week, that a dogs eye exploded. I can't imagine the
glaucoma pressure and pain that owner unecessarily subjected their poor dog
to. i bet they didn't even notice the poor dog had an issue.

Oh, my. We've been giving him drops to reduce the pressure, but
I didn't know explosion what a possible outcome!

Oh hell. Poor Oppie. He'll feel much better soon. And cut yourself
some slack. After our recent experience with Scully I've learned that
it's nearly impossible to cover all the bases, and that sometimes even
the best intentioned experts can develop diagnostic tunnel vision.

Bumped into my vet yesterday, and she said that the ophthal. told
her that he "normally warns owners about the possibility of
glaucoma." Not us. She said that she hadn't heard of it
happening in a case like Oppie's, either, but she rarely sees an
eye gone bad.

Thanks, Kathleen.
