Poor Oppie. He's lucky he's got such a good mom.
I read somewhere last week, that a dogs eye exploded. I can't imagine the
glaucoma pressure and pain that owner unecessarily subjected their poor dog
to. i bet they didn't even notice the poor dog had an issue.

Jesus. Thanks ever so much for that mental image.

FurPaw,
I am so sorry Oppie has to go through surgery but I know he will be
just fine. I am sending healing thoughts to him.
I know he is living the "good life" at this moment. I bet he is
getting a lot of love and spoiled a bit.
I know it is easy to second guess your decisions in the past but I know
you have always done the very best that you could for Oppie. He is a
lucky and beloved dog.
Please keep us posted I will be holding him in the light. Be well,
Oppie

Sorry to hear he has to go through the surgery, but I think you are right -
he will be more comfortable after the healing process. Wishing you a safe
surgery. We'll look for a post op update. Don't beat yourself up with
woulda/coulda/shoulda.

Sue and Atty

Thanks, Sue and Atty. Trying not to beat self up.

Poor Oppie - he's had more than his share of vets and procedures. And
poor you - you've had more than your share of worries with him. All
fingers and paws crossed that this will go well and without
complications, and that things will be smooth sailing from here on.

Thanks, Sally. We're hoping for fair weather.
