Default Longest Flight Ever

Friday and I just returned from the 2008 Canadian Agility
Nationals. This year they were in Sussex, New Brunswick, a
very nice, somewhat small town in the maritimes. 400 crazy
dog people descended upon this town and all had a great time.

Friday did well on the 8 hour flights. He's an experienced
flier and WestJet is a great carrier. Anal me, each way I had
seat 7F (on a Boeing 737 that's the seat right over the
forward luggage ramp) so I was able to watch him being laded.

We did well and had fun doing it. We had 4 clean runs out of
6 (both Standards and both Jumpers) but missed both Gamblers.
Still, we finished in the top third of the most competitive
class. To give you the idea of the competition, we finished
one Standard run clean and 20 seconds under time for 14th out
of 78. Dang, but there were some great teams!

It's good to be home after 5 days away and am looking foward
to picking up Rocky and Maybe from the kennel tomorrow.

This is what makes me love some people.

Sounds like a very successful weekend. Rocky and Maybe will be glad to
be "sprung", I'm sure!

Matt,
Congratulations to you and Friday on his success in the air and on the
ground, in the ring.
I don't blame you for choosing a seat where you can see him being
loaded and unloaded. Two out of three of mine are very stable. I am
not so sure they would be after flying. 8 hour flights? Yeah
Friday.....He is a pretty impressive fellow in the ring too.
I am sure it is nice to be home.

Be Free.....Judy

They were! I picked them up a couple of hours ago.
