"William Clodius" wrote in message ... FWIW most of us consider Jerry Howe to be our resident loon. Most of us have him kill filed. Do as you will. Sometimes Jerry has some interesting past history or some helpful comments, but mostly he is just spewing endless insults and childish, ineffective attempts to discredit those he has targeted as animal abusers. He does not have the ability to carry on a rational, logical discussion, and he seems to think that his long-winded rants are actually read by anyone. Sometimes a newbie will do that, as I once did, until I saw that some of his posts were as large as 100-200k in size, which was just too much to read, especially when it just contained endless and repetitive quotes that were cut and pasted with a few comments thrown in between. I just skim through a few of his shorter posts, and sometimes find something amusing, but he is wasting his time and energy with those that are much over 20k, as I routinely just do a MAR (Mark As Read). Killfiling works, too, but I prefer to see what JH is up to. Although he is quite a loon, his sentiments are sometimes valid. It is important to develop a relationship of kindness, trust, and playfulness between dog and human. I do believe that his methods may work wonders on some dogs, but a "one size fits all" approach just does not seem to be realistic. Paul and Muttley |

"Jim Manson" wrote in message ... We are noticing some improvement already in how he is reacting to things. He is still very skittish but he isn't cringing quite as much when we pet him. If he continues to improve we'll start looking at behavior modification and management in 6-8 weeks. It's going to be a long road for the little guy but we'll make it together. Just wanted to say, I too have been following the saga of Bear. He's so lucky to have found someone patient enough to work with him and intuitive enough to see the dog inside. Sending positive wishes to you both. And a special 'hang in there, trust will come' to you both. best, td |

snip crossposting because it's SO embarrassing!
billyboy means NO WON will DEFEND themselves. No one? Is that so? Are you forgetting, AssCoward, that you wouldn't defend yourself at Yeehaw Junction? I find it hilarious that you have the balls to call others cowards. You are the ultimate coward and it is PROVEN. |
