This has been making the rounds on other usenet groups. I thought I'd
share.

Most Dangerous Chocolate Cake Recipe in the World
5-MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
1 Coffee Mug
4 tablespoons flour (that's plain flour, not self-rising)
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons baking cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
some nuts (optional)
Small splash of vanilla
Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix
thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.
Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes on high. The cake
will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.

Pictures are here. I didn't take and post these. A buddy on the food
group did.

all you need are the
ingredients and a fork, a tablespoon and a mug.

After you mix up the dry ingredients, add the wet.

Bake in the microwave for 3 minutes.

Hot out of the oven.

Nice texture and moist.

The only thing I can think of that makes this have anything remotely to
do with dogs is to warn against sharing it with them.

I've made something along these lines, and while it was most definitely not
the best chocolate cake I've had, it was okay in a pinch.

Lia, this is SO unfair. I do not cook. I do, however, nuke. I
have the bad feeling that your posting this is going to lead
to my populating my kitchen shelves with all kinds of foreign
substances such as flour and vanilla.

I can just imagine my insomniac self stumbling out of bed at
1AM mumbling "Chocolate cake! And maybe a mug of hot chocolate
too! Yes, that'll do the trick for sure."

Definitely needs some chopped walnuts, though. Oooh, or maybe
pecans would be even better....

Careful. The nuts and chips sink.

Dust in a little flour and fold gently. Or layer, as you go along.

That's starting to sound like technique. The beauty of this recipe is
that it is made for dunces who want chocolate cake fast. Or geniuses
who want chocolate cake fast. One way or the other, the recipe has been
carefully crafted for people who don't know or don't want to know what
dust, flour and fold are. Layering is advanced work too.

What's REALLY great about this is that I could do it at work if I wanted
to...I have a microwave in my cubicle (left over from the catering
business) and would just need a way to keep eggs and milk at work.

But now a dilemma...if all posts eventually end up talking about food,
what does one that starts out talking about food end up as???
