Earlier I was frying chicken in the deep fryer and was trying to use my
husband's favourite pair of bamboo tongs to turn the chicken. They don't
spread wide enough, so I had to resort to chopsticks. I swore at the tongs,
and he came in, and told me you just have to SPREAD them (while he did so to
the tongs). One of the legs promptly boiiing-ed off. Oh, my! "I didn't
know you have to treat them like whore's legs!" That cracked him right up,
and we've been calling each other "whoreleg" all night. We find this
endlessly amusing...

We are, obviously, easily amused.

Did I mention we have had copious beers? I drink a fair amount of beer
everyday. It's a compromise I worked out with my doctor. More beer, less
pain killer... it's not ideal, but it works for me.

Dogs: Kiba's itchiness is not totally gone, but has settled down a lot since
the steroid treatment. He is happy tonight, getting bits of chicken flesh
and looking all handsome in his burgundy red satin kerchief I put on him.
Oooops, NOT kerchief, it's a bandanna... I'm told it's a damn bandanna, not
a girly kerchief. Who knew?
