Hi,
I just lost my Lhasa Apso, who many thought was a Tibetan Terrier, because she was big for a Lhasa. My groomer told me she did not think my dog was a Lhaso Apso. She had a marvellous disposition, intelligent, energetic etc. and almost a human in a dog's body. I want another dog with the same attributes. You can see my tribute to her "My loving Lhasa Apso and Diabetes" under rec.pets.dogs.health, if you are interested. I would like to know from Tibetan terrier owners about the personality and health problems affiliated with this breed. Kindly advise. Roger |

I had 3 in a puppy class at one time, and each one was different, partially because of their owners of course. I think they are adorable, but can be challenging in the housebreaking department, and also a bit strong-willed. -- Janet Boss www.bestfriendsdogobedience.com |

Roger I have a 17 year old TT and she has been such fun although she had eye and hip problems she has a can-do personality and has always recovered well. I would not like to speak for the breed as I only have experience of my girl who I love to bits. S probably wont be with us much longer just because she is such an old lady. I had wondered about a lhaso as they are smaller in future but we will see. Sorry no help but I am sure you will love whatever you decide to get. |
