That is good news. I have just become the upper level trampoline in my
bed. I use a step stool to get up on by bed. So does Chica. She does
it in one move she hits the step stool and then my stomach and she is in
bed. She usually doesn't announce her arrival and has to be running at
a good speed to make it. I am fondly recalling the days when she was on
the step stool reaching up for me to pull her on to the bed. Those days
are gone. She is big enough to make it without help.

Ouch! It certainly does sound like you've become a trampoline. That'd
hurt if a cat did it, much less a dog.
