Default Harriet's New Toy

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y97mnAER3FU

Harriet's new favorite toy. She spent about an hour with her head
stuck inside, giving it a thorough cleaning. I wish I'd gotten video
of her carrying it around in her mouth, because *that* was seriously
cute.

I ended up having to switch her to a new food, because they were out
of the stuff I've been giving her. This is a semi-limited ingredient
food with fish. It's got barley and rye in it, though, so I guess
we'll see how it works. Hopefully, it won't make her smell like duck
pate and french fries.

Alsotoo, apparently I do not know how to put my shoes away. Sheesh.

she's seriously cute... and i hope it works for you! the vet is
talking about allergy foods for Hannah if we can't clear up her bloody
stool... I think she needs Paxil persronally...

as for videos showing your shoes.. that's better than my friend who
posted a picture of her hubby with the new baby to a message board and
we suggested she photoshop out the industrial size bottle of lube on
the night table before she sent it to her mom....
Best Wishes,

Nessa

You should send that video to Wellness - Harriet could be a
star!

Thanks! She's dangerously cute and appealing. It's sometimes hard not
to let her run the whole show, just because she's so damned
entertaining.

Does she think the bloody stool is allergy related?

Harriet would have tried eating the contents in one sitting, if it'd
been up to her. The bag, though, not so much.

Ha! Their spokesdog? Alas, she has no brand loyalty. She's never met
a kibble she didn't love.

I know that feeling only too well. I have to be firm with my two or
else the world revolves around them...

well she's had a worming
she's had tylosin for criptosporiduim
she's on flagyl now....

we've changed her foods too much over the last few months and since I
am seeing intermittent loose stool I'm really leaning towards
emotional distress (after all she lost Bagel in September, got Harley
in October and has had 5 different kibbles since October)

at this point we are grasping at straws....

after all yesterday
Hannah was firm
but Harley was loose.

but that's for another thread.... (personally I think both my dogs are
neurotic)
Best Wishes,

Nessa

That wouldn't surprise me. She's had a lot of changes to get used to.
I wonder if it's also possible that she and Harley are passing some sort
of canine stomach bug back and forth?

What a fun merry-go-round!

well I thought so but then we treated her when we treated him (except
for the flagyl only he got that)

I thought it was clearing up then we had the dead deer behind my fence
(and all the bugs and crud that go with decomping deer remains less
than 5 feet from my property) and we are back to this.

I really truly am starting to think there is an emotional component to
Harley's issues. Yesterday was a very very emotionally rough day for
him (a car ride, weiging at the vet, a stranger talked to him, my OS
came to visit and he is loud and then his stepmom stopped by and she
wore a head covering (this terrified him and he peed himself).....

but then I'm hijacking your thread....

That's something I'd be concerned about. Has the deer been removed?

Some asswagon left a turkey carcass on their patio. Critters got into
it and dragged parts onto my patio. Harriet got hold of it. She
dropped it when I told her to, but either it was really foul or she got
a piece I didn't see, as she had diarrhea and the most hideous gas last
night.

I really truly am starting to think there is an emotional component to
Harley's issues.

Oh yeah. Stress can *definitely* bring on diarrhea.

but then I'm hijacking your thread....

No problem.
