Default Holiday wishes from Afton the Lab

I copied this from the LP forum. Words of wisdom from Afton the Lab:

"I've been trying to figure out what this Christmas thing is all
about. I've seen people recently who are starting to act a lot
more like me. The Christmas season seems to help them follow some
of my basic principles:

*Always give people a friendly greeting,
*When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and
muzzle gently,
*If it's not wet and sloppy, it's not a real kiss,
*Leave room in your schedule for a good nap,
*Eat with gusto,
*Delight in the simple joy of your family and a long walk,
*Be obedient, and when you've done wrong, always take
responsibility for it (as soon as they drag you out from under
the bed.)"

Oppie says he's been trying to tell us that for 12.5 years.

Happy holidays!

You forgot the most important one:

*For a little relaxation, you can always hump a leg

Good lord on a bicycle.

Y'know, Ted, it might be interesting to try a little experiment.
See if you can make just ONE post without anything egregiously
offensive in it, OK? Just one? Give it a try.

I thought it was funny. Not nearly as offensive as Shelly in recent posts:

"..to report on its existence. You would do better to shut the **** up"

and

"Except that the original discussion--the one you butted in on--had
**** all to do with you, your employer, etc. Why did you feel the.."

And Melinda also adds her share of profanity:

7/21/07
"Look, you ****ing moron, have a talk with your trainer about.."

6/5/08
"So, you ****ing moron, why is it that when an awful lot of
people try different approaches to explaining to you (in.."

7/21/08
"Yeah, actually it is. But even if it weren't, it's awfully
****ing rude."

7/26/08
"..to me that you're an incredibly ****ed-up guy (although this
is starting to remind me of a movie I saw years ago that.."

8/9/08
"..from the USPTO on an application that frankly was totally
****ing embarrassing but my employer wanted it patented."

At least Ted used language that is acceptable in polite conversation and
words that are allowed to be said on TV. Try searching on posts from
Melinda or Shelly with *expletive* in the content. They are long lists..

So, is everyone in the Holiday spirit(s) yet?

Paul and Muttley
