Hi, I just adopted 2 rescue dogs named Molly & Jaxon. Jaxon is a
Golden mix and Molly is a Collie mix. So far (day 2) they are awesome. We've had a few accidents but nothing too big. I need help training Jaxon on a leash. He is a year old and once you clip the leash to him he will sit on his butt and will not budge. I've tried a little cheese as a treat but I've found if I stand behind him and kind of lift his butt with my foot he will move. Everywhere I read the leash training is more about pulling on the leash when you take your dog for a walk. What about when you take your dog for a sit instead. Thanks, Mike Austin, TX |

What happens if you clip the leash to him and then hold the leash and sit down on the couch and watch a 2 1/2 hour movie? Does he remain sitting the entire time? Ted |
