Yesterday one of Crow & Cinder's littermates delivered ...
10 females. Insanity.

Well, there may be issues around placement.

but the 10
puppies part... O.M.G.

I don't know what they're doing up there but Jack was part
of a litter of 8 (7 males, 1 female).

Both Franklin and Marcie came from litters of 10. 50/50 litters! A lot
of little squirmy bodies!

Those are some wacky long odds.

Insanity.

But a fun sort of insanity.

I tried to find information on multiple puppies all of the same sex. I
found quite a few for sale, but no real information. I wonder if it could
be from fertility drugs, such as what has caused human octuplets and other
anomalies. While searching I found this interesting website:

http://www.pitt.edu/~dash/manykids.html

Here is a story on the octuplets (seven of whom survived):

http://www.theeagle.com/texas/Surviv...-mark-10-years

And here seems to be a video of a Dalmatian with 18 pups!

http://www.associatedcontent.com/vid...n_puppies.html

There was another link about a bitch on fertility drugs that gave birth to
180 pups, but you have to sign up for the site. It seems to be a joke, or
an email harvester.

No argument there.
