Good job, Chard. Eliminate the fiber source. Great advice. Except that you forgot to tell the OP to also get a few Fleet enemas to unplug the constipated mess you've just recommended. Dogs don't need a "fiber source" from plants. They don't get constipated without veggies. They can if fed too much bone but that can be counteracted by feeding more raw meat, especially liver. On the other hand too much meat will cause loose stools which is counteracted by adding more bone. And, of course, nothing we see in our practice is relevant, right? We know nothing. We're in it for the money. Want to see dogs suffer. Keep it up, Chard. I will always keep up telling the truth. What's this "we" thing anyway. Are you a vet? |

Are you a vet? The husband standing over my shoulder reading is. I manage our 3-doctor practice. |

So you aren't a vet. You should stop pretending you are one.
I never have and I have mentioned several times on this NG that I'm the practice manager. So what are my credentials? I have a BS in Education with a concentration in science, a Masters in secondary science education which included research publications. I have 10 years experience as a pharmacy technician in both retail and institutional settings. After leaving teaching to start a family I eventually returned to work 10 years ago managing the practice. I am a member of the Veterinary Hospital Manager's Association and the American Animal Hospital Association. Our practice is AAHA accredited at the *highest level* with the most recent standard protocols (800+). In my job I am the coordinator of continuing education. In 2008 I attended three national conferences and logged more than 120 hours in CE in management, team focus and small animal medicine. I don't pull this out of my ass. And you, Chard? |

Aren't you funny. You still haven't told me why you changed what I wrote, then pasted your new version back as my quote. You love to spit "liar" at everyone here, but you can't face the fact that you are the definition of the word. |
