I'm curious, how do you make a copy of a film x-ray. I've not seen it done,
so I'm not sure how the technology works. I've seen it done where they'll
put a second film in the cartridge, and expose both at the same time, but
I'm not sure how they could make a copy (short of some kind of digitization,
and printing effort, which they don't have the technology for).

These days, a lot of clinics have DIGITAL x-rays, meaning they can be
e-mailed or put on a CD.

Depends on where you are. A lot of clinics around here use film x-rays. I
agree though, digital is nice from the standpoint of making copies.

Sure is. Wish we sould afford to upgrade to digital.

We send the radiograph films. If a practice asks, we'll actually take a
digital picture of the film on the light box with a camera and e-mail it.
Looks quite good!
