Mature adults? - I'm a mature adult,

Physically, perhaps.

At any rate, I'm older than you, Tantrum Boy.

I see, you're just acting like a petulant child then?

I agree it wouldn't have made any difference, but would it have done
any harm?

Potentially, yeah. If the original poster thinks that
getting veterinary advice from the likes of you and me is
some kind of reasonable substitute for veterinary care,
there's possibly a serious problem.

You and Shelly are either the same person or you both have severe
difficulties in understanding plain English, where did I even insinuate that
the OP should substitute taking the dog to a vet for posting a picture?

so if the OP had posted a picture
how would YOU have phrased it to ensure the animal saw a vet

and what pray, tell would be the point of posting a picture so we
could say "NICE LUMP now see a vet..."

Still boggled by what you've posted about food.

I'll wager you are boggled about most things, you certainly appear to be

we as mature adults who know that a picture isn't worth squat in this
case, said "why bother with that step all we are going to do in the
end is tell you to take your dog to the vet"

we just saved time by avoiding an unnessary step. seeing the picture
would have NOT changed the advice given by the folks here.

Phil L needs this synopsis! There's a Phil over on the cat NG who WOULD
say to see a vet, but he fancies himself one (but he's not) and
chastises people for all sorts of other crap. He thinks he's god's gift
to cats and well......... he's an ass. Maybe the Phil "X." is a weird
persona in general.

Wow. He's still there?

I haven;t been in that group for YEARS thankgawd

you changed the subject in the first place which is why the thread

That's not why it's two miles long. It's two miles long
because people keep posting to it. Unless you're saying
that you have no control over your own behavior and that
other people can manipulate you rather easily. I'll
certainly buy that.

It's overlong because you changed the subject, perhaps if I keep saying it,
you'll eventually understand

you: "she eats too much crap and salt and fat and she sounds like a
fussy eater."

She does eat too much crap and salt and fat and she does

so two or three french fries per week and maybe half an ounce of pizza per
month is too much fat, crap and salt?

sound like a fussy eater. That little "put off by protein"

she's not fussy at all, can you not see or comprehend the phrase, 'she will
eat anything'?

hypothesis of yours is completely batshit, and, I'm
absolutely certain, not tested thoroughly, if at all.

tested in what way? - do you mean feed her a high protein diet and watch her
become totally disinterested in food and only eat every other day?, feed her
a high protein diet and watch her eat grass at every opportunity? - I'd
rather she ate her broccoli, carrots, rice, wholewheat biscuits and canned
meat every day and be happy and thin than a high protein meal 3 times a week
and still be thin but unhappy and sickly.

If you think the thread is overlong, the reasonable solution is for you to
stop posting to it.
