Interesting Article on Spaying and Neutering,

INDEEDY~!

Food for thought.

WHAAAT'S to 'THINK' abHOWET?

Surgical sexual mutilation is a SCAM.

Everything is a SCAM it seems. especially concerning allpothic
medicine, unnecessary surgeries and distributing drugs to anyone and
everyone when ever they have headache or their kids are hyperactive.

OK after reading articles like this
http://www.mmilani.com/commentary-200509.html
and many similar citing that spaying causes more aggression and can
cause a host of other health problems, urinary drip, cancer, weight
gain etc i am thinking about not getting her spayed and yes i am
getting it from everyone about how stupid and irresponsible it is to
not do it.

There are also many articles which say the opposite, she will be less
aggressive and less likely to get cancer, though everyone seems to
agree that weight gain may occur

i am pretty sure the weight gain will not be an issue (she will get
plenty of exercise) but the other problems related to spaying bother
me. The other forms of birth control do not look any better.

So for those of you that have not spayed your dog, do you just keep
her inside during the heat cycle?

in case you cant tell i am very cynical concerning doctors and vets
and would prefer to keep the dog ( and myself) as "natural" as
possible. no offense to any of you vets out there.

Good I am glad to see that things are finally starting to change. We
no longer assume that everything Doctors and vets say and do are
correct, the pharmaceutical companies will come up with studies
disproving these of course. I myself try to avoid seeing a doctor
unless absolutely necessary. Like humans taking Antibiotics all these
shots you give to your pets are taking away their natural immunity. I
know of many people that would take antibiotics every time they were
sick and now need a months worth of antibiotics to get over a simple
head cold. Not sure if it is the same with vets but many of the
Doctors i know are wined and dined on luxury cruises and what not by
the good folks who peddle prescription drugs.

on a happier not took the pub to the cottage for the first time this
weekend, she had a lot of fun and got to meet some new people and
dog. No "accidents" at home anymore, in fact she only peed a few
times but never pood inside. But she did leave a pile on Sunday
morning at the cottage, though maybe she just had too many BBqed
sausages and buns and chips and whatever else she could find?

It has been illegal to do this for a few years now.

Wink wink Chard. Here you go, HON.

Let's see....

http://www.modernhealthcare.com/arti...mparchives2007

Drug companies have been prosecuted for conspiracy, bribery and offering
illegal remuneration in violation of the federal Anti-Kickback Act.

(snips)

"Under the AMA's ethical guidelines, gifts to physicians "should benefit
patients and should not be of substantial value." In 2002, the
Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America, or PhRMA, a drug
industry trade organization, recommended that gifts should not exceed $100
in value."

"Campbell likened drug companies giving gifts to doctors to baseball owners
giving gifts to umpires."

In 2005, Serono pleaded guilty to five anti-kickback violations, including
bribery charges. It agreed to pay the government $704 million, including
more than $136 million in criminal penalties. In 2004, Adam Stupak, a former
Serono sales director, pleaded guilty to kickback charges.

"In a similar case in 2001, TAP Pharmaceutical Products, based in Lake
Forest, Ill., agreed to pay $885 million to settle kickback charges. Like
Serono, individual TAP executives in 2004 also were acquitted on similar
charges."

Also, it's an industry ethics code.

snipped...

Did you get those links, Chard?? You were so anxious to get them... How
about it??

And if you could answer my long standing question on your honesty (which
directly relates to your honesty and integrity), I'd appreciate it. Really -
you should clear this up so that we all get the right idea about you.
