Friday as a name.

Mom called last night and we talked, amongst other stuff, about
the movie she'd gone to with her grandaughters - "Hotel For
Dogs." She thought that it was cool that the main dog was named
Friday.

So, I wrote to the author of the books which led to the movie,
Lois Duncan, asking how the name of the famous dog developed.
She responded right away and said that the movie script writer
changed the original to Friday, and so she changed her series of
books.

I'd still like to know, but I can't find the contact info for
the screenwriters, the main one being Robert Schooley.

Yes, I was bored today.
