Reminder - Xylitol is toxic.

Just a reminder to keep your dogs away from sugar free gum containing
xylitol. We had two patients in today that saw the need to down an entire
package of Orbit gum. Apparently a bonding moment :-) We stabilized them
and sent them to a 24-hr specialty hospital.

Good reminder Sharon. I am not a gum chewer, but so many people don't
even think about this. It was something I highlighted for some recent
petsitting, along with being cautious about meds.
