That's shocking, all right. Our vet's price for the feline kidney
formula was something like $36 for 24 6 oz cans. I'm a little
surprised that Cornell has cheaper prices for prescription food and a
lot surprised that Banfield's prices are lower.

They probably buy it in much, much larger quantities than a vet's office has
space or clients for. Not only that, companies sometimes give a *little*
discount to vet schools.

Yeah - the Cornell pharmacy has a warehouse. I initially
was led to believe it would take a week to get it from
Cornell so I ordered it from an online prescription pet food
place, who got it to me very quickly. Their prices were
about where Cornell's were (and went up about the same
amount at the same time) but holy smokes the shipping
charges ...

Well since I did ask I guess I'm smarter than you'd know.

You didn't ask. You asserted several times that we hadn't
isolated the cause. You were incorrect both times.

And you could be smarter than I think and still be in
annelid territory.

SPLORT!

"Easier to flame people than consider I may be right?" Not your job to
answer for Sharon. G

These aren't questions?

"So you tell me, what are you doing to prevent this from happening
again? Was the cause due to an infection or was it a metabolic disease?
Do you even know?"

You don't even know what that word means. A symptom would be inability to
urinate, fever, or inappetance. The cause was the crystals. The RX food
cleared that up.

And now whatever caused the crystals the first time will cause more.
That means the vet will get repeat visits and make more money.

That is what vets are famous for.

You wouldn't know what veterinary protocols are, much less actual science
and medicine.
It always ends up being all about you, doesn't it. Nobody knows anything
except you.

That's not true at all. There are a fast growing number of people who
think like I do. Does that scare you?

Not necessarily. See you don't even know enough about the case to make this
assumption. Waht did the records and labs say?

Scare me? You think that people who challenge your absurdity are shaking in
their boots. I have education, experience and science behind what I know.
You just google, surf and wait until you find something that fits your weird
science and call that the truth. If you haven't noticed, you're swimming in
a very small school of fish here.

Mea culpa. They are questions. That'll teach me not to go
rooting around in my killfile. Back you go. G
