Default New tricks

Bella is strongly motivated by her resource guarding instincts. She
does NOT like it if a certain black dog is on the bed with humans and
she is not.

Bella will be eight this summer, and in her entire life, she had only
jumped up on the bed from one side. She has seen the black dog get up
on the bed from both sides, so she knows it can be done. The side she
doesn't like is closer to a wall, but there's still a good 3.5 - 4 feet
between the bed and the wall.

Two nights ago, I had stuff piled on my side of the bed and Bella had
no access. Beanie was on the bed, sighing loudly and Bella was not on
the bed.

For the first time in her life, she jumped up on the bed from the
"wrong" side. Humans were quite pleased, but she waited until tonight
to try it again, twice.

Now we have to try and get her to try the bench to bed technique...
