And I can't count how many times I've seen puppies come down with parvo
right after getting a parvo shot.

That's pretty common {}: ~ (

Good God.

Which "G-d", sharon? Most of us SCIENTISTS don't
BELIEVE in such superstitiHOWES nonsense DESPITE
that we got a few Satanists postin their LIES IDIOCY
INSANITY and ABUSE here abHOWETS {}: ~ (

I've seen this happen one time - and I'm in a better
situation to "see this happen" than chard is.

INDEEDY. IN FACT, 90% of ALL DIS-EASE is CAUSED
BY your INSANE surgical sexual mutilations, EXXXCESSIVE
vaccinations and TOXIC veterinary MALPRACTICES {}: ~ (

And the reason this puppy came down with parvo so soon after
the vaccine is because another unvaccinated puppy in the house had parvo
and they thought that if they got this puppy vaccinated that it would
immediately protect it as well.

CuriHOWES, AIN'T IT, sharon too, that your VETERINARY
MALPRACTICIONER who ADMINISTERED the inapupriate /
ineffective vaccine FAILED to take a complete case history
an hadn't advised your CASH CUSTOMER as to the OPTIONS
and ramifications {}: ~ (

It does take some time.

INDEEDY:

Nancy Scanlon, DVM, Chino Hills, USA, said: "For those who don't
believe in the concept of long-term vaccinosis, there is plenty of evidence
of short term problems. Every time a dog is vaccinated for Parvo, the
number of white blood cells in the circulation decreases for a while.

This means their immune system won't work as well during that time.
Every veterinarian who has been in practice long enough has seen
reactions to vaccines, ranging from lethargy, mild fever, sore neck to
vomiting and sleeping for 24 hours, to total collapse and shock.

In cats we now recognise that vaccinating with too many vaccines in
the same place all the time can cause fibrosarcoma, a nasty cancer.
This is officially recognised by the allopathic veterinary community,
and if this isn't a form of vaccinosis, I don't know what is".

I just shake my head at this poster.

PERHAPS you got a case of tardive dyskinesia caused
by your ANTI-PSYCHOTIC meds, eh, sharon too??

For example, SSRIs, particularly Paxil, are used to treat
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, which is classified as
an anxiety disorder.

And they do have the 'side effect' of reducing anxiety.

Yes, I understand that, just as something like xanax does
have a bit of an anti depressive quality to it.

Then why did you say, "I'm curious as to the designation
of an SSRI as an 'anti-anxiety' drug though."

Something like xanax or klonipen? I thought those were occasionally
used on dogs for 'short term' treatments for things such as behavior
modification? I also 'thought' they had fewer negative side-effects.

Depends on what you consider to be a negative side effect. Both have
their share.

Yes, they do. I was thinking along the lines of the more severe side
effects, something like tardive dyskinesia and liver metabolization as
opposed to the milder, dry mouth, nausea or abdominal distress, etc.

Tardive dyskinesia? The rate of this in humans is extremely low with
SSRIs, much, much lower than it is with antipsychotics, and in some
reports it's not clear that it wasn't a pre-existing condition or a result
of a combination of drugs.

Liver metabolization isn't a side effect - it's what
the liver does to drugs (and many other substances).

I suppose an unvaccinated dog eating raw wouldn't have
gotten the guinea worm we took out of a leg a couple weeks ago either.

INDEED?

And an unvaccinated dog eating raw wouldn't have any injuries after being
hit by a car.

Perhaps all it takes is a little tea tree oil, eh, sharon?

Nor would one ever get sick from eating a poisonous substance....

Ooops~! There goes another 1/3 of your BUSINESS.

Could be a case of Parkinson's from handling your
TOXIC chemical dips and flea treatments {}: ~ (

You might wanna consider chelation, eh, sharon?

Oh, an bye the bye, seein as we're talkin Parvo, the FACTS
ARE that dogs die as a result of INEFFECTIVE VETERINARY
CARE, not the virus:

Parvaid was developed in 1997 to help your animal overcome Parvo.
It has an 85% success rate and takes an average of 2 days before
the animal begins eating on its own.

Parvaid has been known to help with other illnesses such as extreme
Vomiting, Diarrhea, symptoms of Corona, E-Coli, and Giardia.

Parvaid may be used as a preventative if the animal has been exposed.
When Parvo is introduced into the body, it will find its way into the
glands
of the animal and incubate. Eventually the virus will leave the gland and
work its way into the intestinal tract where it will begin the process of
eating away the lining causing symptoms.

The virus will also work its way into the marrow of the bone and attack
the white blood cells making the puppy susceptible to infections. This
usually takes anywhere from 3 to 15 days. If Parvaid is introduced before
the virus reaches the intestinal tract nine times out of ten Parvaid will
help
the dog fight off the virus making it look as if Parvo never existed.

If the animal has a weak immune system or the strain of the virus is one
of the harder strains to fight off then the preventative measures may not
work entirely however, the animal will not get as sick as he would have if
not given the Parvaid.

Treatment for canine Parvovirus consists of giving fluids through a vein,
antibiotics and medicine to treat symptoms. A sick animal must be isolated
from other dogs. A vaccine is available, and veterinarians recommend that
all puppies be immunized and that dogs receive booster injections annually.

Amber Technology has found that a recently vaccinated puppy is likely to
have more difficulties than one who is not. Once the puppy has been exposed
to the Parvovirus, one may not want to vaccinate.

The Parvovirus is a group of extremely small viruses that affect humans,
dogs, rodents, pigs, cattle, and other animals. Millions of particles can
be
found in one ounce of stool and an animal needs only one thousand of those
particles to be infected.

An antibiotic is necessary for the treatment of Parvo (due to the lack of
white blood cells the body is producing) to prevent secondary infections.

Due to several changes in the market over the last few years with Parvo
and its imitators, we recommend giving Vibactra Plus (Amber Technology’s
antibiotic), and Life Cell Support in addition to Parvaid.

Parvaid is made in an alcohol base in order to get the medicinal properties
into the bloodstream quickly. With Parvo there is not much time to treat
the disease. Parvaid gets into the bloodstream within seconds and begins to
help the dog overcome the disease

Symptoms of Parvo may include: Vomiting, diarrhea, depression, stools
that may look yellow-green, clear with red streaks or dark brown and runny.
A high fever is generally accompanied.

Parvaid can also be used for:
• Building the immune system (especially good for puppies who are
weaning from their mother). In this situation, give Parvaid once a day.

• Vomiting and diarrhea caused by changes in the environment and diet.

• Ease travel discomfort.
• Bloating
• Gas
• In some cases, bad breath.
• Aid in symptom of Giardia and Coccidia

Amber Technology has developed a Vaccination & Wormer Detox (or Life Cell
Support being the same formula) for dogs who have been vaccinated or wormed
within 14 days of illness. It has shown to increase the odds of survival.
The Life Cell Support cleans the lymphatic system and can take 1 day from
the illness if given when no vaccine or wormer has been introduced into the
body.

In addition to the Parvaid, Vibactra Plus and Life Cell Support it may be
helpful to give Vitamin C 4 times a day and Vitamin B complex once a day
until the dog is eating on his own.

Sugar stabilizers are also important to keep puppy from crashing. We have
an Oat Water and Beef Liver recipe found in our Self Help Guide (tea recipe
section) to help keep the sugar levels stable.

If you notice all or most of these symptoms, it may be an indication the
puppy may have more going on than the Parvovirus.

• Puppy has a light brown stool (like peanut butter).
• Older dogs, nursing puppies, even humans coming down with stomach
illnesses.

• Little or no bowel movements.

• Puppy is not improving while on the Parvaid, Vibactra Plus and Life Cell
Support.

Parvaid, Vibactra Plus and Life Cell Support should help your puppy. If
your puppy continues to worsen and you have gone through the steps in our
Self Help Guide located at www.ambertech.com call Amber Technology at
877-727-8243 ext 4.

One 1 oz bottle of Parvaid will treat approximately 3 medium size dogs.
Parvaid has a 4-year shelf life from date stamped on box.
