Default PLEASE HELP SHELTER

"gilb" said in rec.pets.dogs.health:

So it's inconvenient and logistically implausible to donate
to all of them so they shouldn't try all options? I still
stand by the option that one can pass over anything that
doesn't suit you.....as I should have done with this
thread.

You missed Melinda's main point: such requests could choke out
legitimate health concerns. This is a *health* group. There is
also a *rescue* group. Which do you think is the more
appropriate group for this thread?

Out of
curiosity, and given your apparently poor impulse control,
would *you* skip over thousands of requests for donations?
Or would you think "This newsgroup doesn't have anything but
people begging for money - I'll unsubscribe?"

You need't worry about the direction or number of my donations and I try not
to throw the baby out with the bath water......so I won't unsubscribe. My
killfile is much more selective for the occational "bad apple".

What? I'm not sure what that means but I'm absolutely
positive you left out a few cliches and exhausted metaphors.
