So is dry matter basis, which is expressed as a percentage.

Evidently you found it up your orifice too! I don't eat that many carbs
in a day and my weight is much more than that of my dogs.

Those are percentages, chard - that's how nutritional
composition is expressed. Those numbers should't be at all
surprising if you've got even a passing familiarity with the
macronutrient content of dog foods. A performance feed is
going to be on the order of 30/20 (protein/fat) - that's
only 50% of the diet, which means that 50% is something
else. Almost all commercial feeds have less protein and
fat. And you don't know what "that many" carbs actually is
if you don't know the quantity being fed, so I'm not sure
why you'd make a statement like that unless you didn't
understand dog nutrition and feeding basics.

Hills is one of the crappiest dog foods out there and one of the most
dishonest.

I don't like Hills, either, but at least they provide
more complete data on the composition of their foods than
seems to be typical in the industry. The point certainly
wasn't to argue the quality of their diets, but to point out
that you're not correct about the relative amount of carbs
in kibble versus other forms.
