Of course it's not. Of course it is. And for the reason I stated. Tell you what - I'll get back to you after you indicate that you don't have hypothetical dogs. I DON'T HAVE HYPOTHETICAL DOGS. Now what? While it is a logical error to consider your personal history in judging the correctness of what you write, life is not primarilly about logic, and we will use the prejudices formed by how you present (or don't present) yourself in deciding whether to read what you write and how to react to what you write. There are often good reasons for keeping some aspects of your life private in any forum: things such as your email address, physical address, or details about a significant other. However it is difficult for me to imagine how those reasons can extend to the details of your dogs, and in practice those who have avoided giving such details have had agendas that made their postings an unwarented distraction: people such as Jerry Howe with his general craziness; chardonay with her obsession with "miracle cures"; or Handsome Jack with his need to exercise his ego. So far your tendency to overquote, over explain, and not admit your mistakes gives me little reason to value what you write. -- Bill Clodius los the lost and net the pet to email |
