Ginnie, my Japanese Chin was put to sleep this morning. She was 11 and had
a grade five heart murmur. She caught kennel cough despite having the
vaccination and it was too much for her. We adopted her 18 months ago and
we had a short but happy time. She was a real sweetheart.

Sleep well, Ginnie.

Alison,

I'm so sorry Alison. You may have only had her for 18 months, but it
doesn't take more than a moment to give your heart.
Godspeed Ginnie,
Karla

Alison,

Hi Alison,
The pics tell me Ginnie was lucky to have her last 18 months with you, I bet
a pets life is great at your house. God bless and I'm sure Ginnie was
grateful.

Wingnut, Karla and Steve, thankyou.
It has really hit me today but I have happy memories and it was worth it.

What a beautiful girl - she looked well-loved. I'm so sorry -
you lost her too soon.

Alison,

A year and a half is a short time, and kennel cough is a tough way to
go, but the photos are lovely and suggest the time you had together was
a very good one. My condolences.

I appreciate your thoughts and condolences.
We've all been through this and it helps that there are doggy people who
understand that a dog isn't just a dog but a member of the family.

Alison,
