I made bad mistake of doing just that and he wouldn't touch his kibble again for 2 days. Just hoping and waiting for the special food. So unfortunately until he turns into more of a "chow hound" type I must only give him kibble and his training treats. Now Blade and Clovis never turn up their noses at kibble.
