DH just brought us home a new baby from the humane society. She was
one of 9 litter pups, second to the last one to be adopted. Pound
said she was a pit bull. We didn't see them, but I guess they
originally had the male and female.

We had to have a drive by our house to make sure we had a fence for
her and our jurisdiction allowed pits. Anyway, I have done alot of
research on the breed and am excited to know any other pit owners.

she has been vaccinated and dewormed. I've had dogs in the past,
been to clicker training classes with each dog. Any clicker
trainer's here? What about new puppy owners?

She has two crates, but so far she hates them. Any other suggestions
for the chewing and biting? Especially the hands. We have a squeaky
dog toy but hasn't shown much interest.


When she's not in the crate, I have been having her on a leash by my
side. She hates that too.



I have been leaving dog food in her bowl all the time, but she is
pooping all the time. Seems I read that scheduled feedings, (3 times
a day??) helps control the poop. It's been awhile since I had a
puppy. I am hoping to get reminder's on training..
