The Behavior group was more of a chat type group than Health - people
usually tried to reserve Health for specific canine health-related
questions. Unfortunately, spammers and crackpots have pretty much
chased away people from both Behavior and Health.

Does he have specific health problems? Otherwise you might be better off
posting in rec.pets.dogs.behavior.

What we have done is bring this group back to it's original focus, that
of a dog's health. That you disagree with that does not make us
crackpots. Indeed, you are the one behind the times in thinking that
commercial dog food is in any way good for dogs.

The improvement in this group the past few months has been remarkable.
Much less of the personal attacks, the stupidity and posts about abusing
dogs!

Having a group about helping dogs run by abusers could not be more
ironic. That is now in the past. Real information about health is the
future.

Answering every question with variations of "feed your dog raw,
because kibble is cardboard and kibble-fed dogs starve to death and
kibble is the cause of all health problems" is not real information.
People who spout crap like that, and are unable to ever come up with
any evidence to back up their crap, are crackpots.

These newsgroups have never been run by anyone. You calling someone a
dog abuser doesn't make it true, anymore than you saying that a
premium dry dog food has no nutritional value makes it true. 98% of
the people who come here can easily discern that, but once in a while
it's important to restate it for new dog owners.
