Some dogs don't like Haltis or Gentle Leaders, and I can't say I blame
them. So to those dogs, Haltis and Gentle Leaders are cruel. By the
way, what exactly do you mean by a "soft collar"? Anything that's not
made of metal?

I won't speak for Phyrie because I don't really know him, but the only
reason that the dog groups are in such sad condition is that virtually
everyone who knew anything about dogs has apparently left the group,
at least partly because of clueless charlatans like you, Char.

Yes, that's sad, because dogs deserve better than that.

I'm a girl, but that's OK. And I couldn't agree with you more, on both
points.

What the hell. Paul tried to get him. I can't out run my dog - can you?

I've never had the need to do so, because all of my dogs have been
TRAINED to recall.

So is mine and the vast majority of the time it works. Do you have 100%
recall? I don't when my dog sneaks out she plays in the street and
she does not respond to my recall. It has become a game.
If I don't chase her she comes back to the front door.

At the dog park one of my German Shepherd trainers had a highly trained
level 8 German Shepherd. Even he did not have perfect control when
other dogs were involved.

You have a robot? - Good for you.

Paul is not Cesar Millan and neither am I. Paul is a first time dog
owner, as am I, except he seems to have a particularly difficult stray.
He is trying to do the best he can and hold down a job.
I don't have an hour a day for training and I doubt Paul has either.

Plus, I don't leave my dogs out on unsafe and
improper jury-rigged lines that they can easily escape from, like
Muttley has already done a number of times already. Unlike cats, dogs
don't have nine lives.

I am sure Paul is doing the best he can. The is Youtube footage I have
seen of a dog jumping a ten foot fence using Parcour type moves.
Muttley has spent time as wild stray. Things are going to take time.

And Muttley is already living on borrowed time.

How will you feel when Muttley eventually doesn't come back?

Sorry for Schoen?

Or sorry for Muttley?

I will feel sorry for Paul Schoen. Muttley has already been rescued
from hell any time spent with a loving owner . With all the nutcase
abusive owners out there you want to single out Paul for all your bile.
To hell with that.

Don't bother, Dogman. As Melinda used to point out, Paul posts these
outrageous tales of horrific neglect and then masturbates to our
righteous indignation when we respond to such negligence. I, too, have
to fight with myself not to scream at him about how badly he treats
Muttley, and shows so little care for him, but I managed this time,
somehow.

Phyrie

Phyrie you are a sick little bitch! Jerry has posted how all of you
abuse your pets so I guess you feel the need to push it all one
someone else like Paul.

What you and Dogman post, that kind of thing is why the dog groups are
in such sad condition.

Jerry Howe?? Jeez, lady, you just don't give a **** about your
credibility at all do you? You realize you are relying on a crazy person
for information, right? Oh, wait, look who I'm speaking to... Sketchy
sources are your forte, aren't they?
Sheesh, if you want anyone to respect you even the tiniest bit, I
wouldn't run around quoting Jerry Howe.

Phyrie

I could care less if you and your "friends" respect me or not. It's not
like you matter.

LMAO! I could write "I have a dog" and it would elicit an incoherent screed
from Howdy Doody on my abusive behavior (which of course I wouldn't see
because I have him killfiled).

Yeah, I haven't seen any of his posts for years. I didn't even know he was
still posting. When I bought my latest computer, I was forced to use
Windows Mail (thanks Bill Gates), and it's automatically killfiled him, I
guess, because I know I didn't do it, and I haven't seen any posts by him at
all.
