Sigh.
Ooooh, words are scary things.
Sheesh.

You're sacred of words? Isn't there a word for that?

Hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia is a fear of long words. Seeing as you
don't know any, I'd say you are Logophobic or Verbophobic.

You've pretty much morphed into a British version of Sonofdog/Andal.

Keep up the good work!

Are you taking any new medications? Did your doctor adjust any of your
usual ones?

My comments (in American English, plus a touch of sarcasm) were aimed
at *your* apparent fear of the word "command." But then again, I
guess you just don't understand American English or sarcasm. I have no
fear of the word "command," or any other word for that matter.

com-mand

1. to direct with specific authority or prerogative

Ooooh, that's some really scary ****, eh?

What a maroon.

You're pissed because I twisted it back on you *and* it's funny.

A command is an order in this context.
Phyrie said " So, if I suspect "fiddling", that's when I should repeat the
request? (I hesitate to say "command" for some reason, as we were just
playing).

I replied "There's no harm in repeating a request or instruction (I'm not
keen
on the word command either) "

Loks like Phyrie is "scared"of the word too.

Is getting owned what you limies call "twisted it back"?

Well, I don't remember the context, exactly, but Phyrie shouldn't be
afraid of using the word "command," either.

I replied "There's no harm in repeating a request or instruction (I'm not

I don't think so. Phyrie's too smart for that.

Again, if she was just playing around, and not formally training,
repeating a request/command is no big deal. Otherwise, it can easily
lead to nagging, a term I'm 100% certain that you're familiar with.

Better to do a little teaching at that point (rather than repeat the
command), or move on to another command for a while, and then come
back to the command on which she "fiddled" previously.

Well, I would normally be inclined to praise you and your dog for
a job well done,

I haven't been able to get Dibby to fetch his bone. Can't think why ..LOL

Fetch? You cannot be serious!

Heh! He needs a doggy cart to load it into. Very cute. About equivalent to
Muttley fetching a side of beef.

Does this make you feel good about yourself? If your only
reason for attacking me, and my dog, is because I was bothered
by your video, why didn't you ask what bothered me? You have no
idea what I was bothered by, but still you decide to attack me. Is
my one comment enough for you to jump off the deep end and
accuse me of abusing my dog? And you claim you are a civilized,
calm person? I wonder how your buddies at CM's forum would
feel if I posted this little comment of yours, so they could see your
real colours. You were the one who badgered this whole forum to
post a video of our dogs looking for things, and when I do, you not
only don't remark on the video, you make a personal attack on me
and accuse me of abusing my dog. You are some piece of work.
And I don't really mean "work".

OK, I was being a bit extreme. But remember that you also went on an all-out
attack on me and Muttley after our mishap at Woofstock, and you never
apologized, or removed your hateful, negative statements that bothered the
positive-thinking people on the CM forum. I was called out for bringing
negativity there with my own replies, so I removed them.

When you said you were more than a little disturbed by my video, that was
the time to explain it. Otherwise I assumed it to be just another ad hominem
attack, and I replied in kind. It looks like it had the desired effect of
showing you what it feels like to be constantly and groundlessly attacked by
you and others on this forum.

I consistently try to be kind, or at least harmlessly humorous, when I post
here. It doesn't take long for the usual suspects to gang up on me, even as
they engage in their own petty infighting. So, you can choose to take the
high or the low road. I don't maintain grudges forever, like some do. I've
even tried to be reasonable with Janet, but she persists in her one-sided
self-protective viewpoint. And of course Dogman is a lost cause.

So, tell me what you found so disturbing. Others tell me he is just excited
and having a good time trying to do something for me, or at least for
something he wants. And now I've trained him to pick up his bowl, usually
without quite so much craziness. There doesn't seem to be anything else to
be critical of. At least I'm succeeding with some sort of training.
