Default You know what I hate?

Besides the very obvious?

When you swear you will never have anything to do with a certain brand
because of their poor decisions (for example, when Iams changed the formula
of their adult maintenance without marking it on the bag--and I had a dog
that was allergic to the new main ingredient), and one of their lines turns
out to be what your new puppy MUST be fed. (Euk LB puppy chow).

Why MUST?
I mean, I know that my breeder made suggestions. I told her
what/how I feed and what I planned to do. We had an agreement,
even though it's different from her routine.
We, BTW, aren't on a co-own contract either.

What would happen if you switched him over to grocery-story dog food,
like Purina puppy chow?

I'm not so happy about the food that my pup is on, but her breeder said
she's tried and found some of the 'deemed to be the best' brands such as
'James Welbeloved' (we're UK) to give her pups the squits.

So we're starting on purine pro plan for the first week then I have planned
to gradually move her on to total home cooked ~ there are only 2 of us and
we tend to over buy anyway, and I'm becomeing ever more cynical about what
the food manufacturers of human grade meats are up to, let alone dog food.
At least this way I can see first hand and know first hand, exactly what is
going in to my pup.

24 hours to go for us, I can hardly breath with excitement...

His breeder would kill me, (she knows where I live and I would rather
feed the Iams line than Purina Dog Chow any day.
