I have a Labrador/collie puppy (10 months) that chews constantly

(and we're
not talking gum here!), is there anything I can do to prevent this

(short of
teeth removal)?

Graybags

Buy him a ton of his own chew toys and keep stuff out of reach.

That'll help some but there *is* Lab in this pup and this is what Labs
do...for a looooong time (okay normally until 2-3 yers of age).

Oh believe me I understand
Moose used to eat everything when he was a baby too. He is the
Rottie...
Here's a short list of things he got to:
The phone cord outside attached to the house, The aluminum siding,
some of the concrete block that was holding the posts up under the
deck we used to have, the bottom of the stove where the broiler tray
is supposed to sit.
Of course there were many more things but those were a couple It
didn't take long for me to realize that even if it was 20 degrees
below zero outside I needed to go stand out there with him to deter
him from chewing my entire back yard up. Standing at the door peeking
out was not an option.

Not so easy with the door, the window frames, the radiators, cupboard doors
etc.

If your reply was in English, Puppy Wiz, it may be easier for me to read.
