I have a dachsund that I got when he was 2 years old. He is a wonderful
little guy, but the minute that he sees me, my husband or my son getting
ready to leave the house, he starts to shake and shake almost as if he is
having a seizure, and no matter how recently he has been outside to potty,
he will let either #1 or #2 go all over the floor.

Someone told me that he may have been abused or something and for me to find
out about his past owner. I could not find anything out, but my friend told
me that the place where he was born, Lambriar Kennels, is a place that she
believes was a terrible place and got in trouble.

Does anyone know anything about this? If so I would be greatful for any
input. Otis (my dog) is a very special part of our family and I hate to see
him so scared..but we have to go to work, school, etc.

If you use Google and put in “Lambriar Kennels� you’ll come up with a
good bit.

From what I could find, Lambrier Kennels is a large commercial puppy mill.
Your dog may very well have a bit of a temperment problem.
