Any breeder that cares at all about cocker spaniels will have had the
parents examined by a veterinary opthomologist for early signs of eye
disease.

Sadly, cockers are a breed that was nearly ruined by irresponsible breeders
that breed for bucks, with little concern for the health and temperment of
the dogs they breed.

Be especially careful of breeders using "rare" colors as a selling point.
