Default Help! New Pom and Old Beagle

The beagle wants to eat the Poms food and steal her treats, but wants to attack
her if she is any where near his food bowl.

They were getting along great until treat time. The beagle barked loudly,
jumped across the room and stole her cookie. I got them both settled down and
all was fine until supper time.

We are giving equal time on treats, petting, brushing so there wont be a
jealousy problem. All was happy, both sniffed, touched noses and seemed fine
--- until food!

I've never had more than one dog at a time before. Any advise would be
appreciated.

This is very common, your 2 dogs are acting like dogs =: ) I used to feed
my 2 dogs in separate rooms. One in the kitchen, and the food fighter in
the living room where I could watch her. Once dinner was over, I would pick
up the food bowls until the next meal. jdoee

How long do you give them to finish eating?
Both are fed in the evening, but neither finish until later in the evening.
