......These are real personal decisions, and depends on how your dog
is doing, and how you feel about doing more surgery. I'd read all you
can in the meantime. One question I would have would be if more of
these tumors were likely to appear. And then there's the fact that
surgery on the one under her front leg might really hinder her walking
for a while. It's not a decision you have to make this minute as your
pup is still recovering. Do you have any kind of appt for a checkup
for her after surgery? Might be a good time to ask questions to
settle it in your mind.

Hi Buglady,

We went to the "after surgery" check-up last week. They never mentioned
another follow-up to that so I'm guessing that is it unless we decide to
go with the other lump removals. I did ask questions but it just didn't
seem like he had the answers or like it was just up to us. The lumps
would re-appear and they mentioned that if you see a lump then it most
likely has already mestasized to another area. This is a fast spreading
type of cancer. The one under the leg does concern me that it would
hinder her walking if we were to go with surgery. She walks fine now and
it doesn't seem to bother her when she moves. I think all of this is made
more difficult by the fact that by looking at her, she looks like a
healthy gal. I do plan on researching some more. It is definitely a
tough call. We'll see I guess...

Take care...

Alie

I really hate to hear that things did not turn out as we all had hoped, with
the diagnosis. S*#t.
